The standard cleaning advice is: clean stains carefully with a damp cloth.
Do not wash, do not dry clean.
If it is not possible to remove the stain, a slighty damp cloth with a fine wool detergent can be used. Make sure that hard and prolonged rubbing and too much moisture can damage the surface of the felt and cause the material to shrink and deform locally.
